East Dorset beat Roehampton 4-3

12 Jun 2004 (AC - Mary Rose)

East Dorset (Parkstone) returned to the Mary Rose competition after some years' absence, hosting the visit of Roehampton. Recent handicap improvements to below +1 by members of both clubs had decimated potential squads, but still led to a very close tussle. Some fine performances by the Parkstone team against lower-handicapped opposition just carried the day in the end.
