Fire destroyed the clubhouse at Hunstanton on 28 September

The fire was caused by vandals and the police are investigating.

William Prichard immediately suggested a whip-round "This is extremely sad news. Assuming that the insurance won't cover the cost of a rebuild and equipping, (note not using the term re-equipping) perhaps a whip round will be required from those who can afford it or feel rather attached to Hunstanton croquet club. I for one would be happy to contribute and/or co-ordinate such a venture. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?"
