Call for return of CA Trophies

[<<] [>>] by Nigel Graves
15th March 2005 (Other News)

May I remind all holders of CA Trophies that it is their responsibility to arrange for their return to the office in Cheltenham in good time for them to be engraved and conveyed to the next tournament venue. According to the rules, all trophies should be returned by 1 April, but some flexibility is acceptable.

If the trophy is returned to a member of Cheltenham Croquet Club at a Cheltenham tournament please ensure that the CA Office is aware that this has happened. Too often in the past I have found CA Trophies lurking forgotten in a cupboard in the Cheltenham CC office.

If it is of any assistance, I shall be playing in the Easter Handicap at Surbiton and am willing to collect trophies there for transport back to Cheltenham, but a week later I retire and will no longer be providing a courier service.

Nigel Graves
Secretary
