David Garner won the Parsons Green One-Ball

The Parsons Green May One-Ball tournament took place on 8 May under a beaming sun and a nearly-beaming (perhaps next year?) new manager, Nick Parish, taking over from Pauline Healy who had run it for the previous umpteen and one years. Ten entrants came from as far away as San Francisco. The manager almost broke the cardinal rule of management and won his own tournament but was reminded in time and proceeded to lose the last round to local member and eventual winner, David Garner.
