Some late withdrawals due to illness and work commitments give a rare opportunity to enter Colchester's Spring Weekend Handicap Tournament next weekend, an event which is usually over-subscribed almost as soon as the fixtures list is released.

There is a wide range of handicaps amongst the current entrants, from 3.5 to 18 with just about all points in between. Colchester has four of the flattest lawns around, and they are in tip-top condition. We also offer first-class lunches and teas.

The tournament is Egyptian format. Cost for the three days is £18; enter now by email and pay when you arrive
