Reg Bamford achieves highest ranking index

Reg Bamford's 3037, after the first game of the Coles final, is the highest CGS index anyone has achieved. The previous highest index of 3021 was achieved by Robert during the 1993 Opens, prior to his quarter final loss to Reg. He had just had a run of 49 wins in 50 games including a run of 43 wins.

Reg had a run of 1 defeat (to Marcus Evans in the Worlds last year) in 33 games.

Listed are the highest indices (>2800) and highest grades (>2700) ever achieved with the current smoothing parameters.
