The GB Mac team made it's first public outing on Saturday against a South West team.
The match was played all doubles. The SW pair of Death & Evans were the day's stars, impressively beating Clarke & Fulford and Avery & Maugham back to back and must now be fancying their chances for this week's Open doubles title.
Thankfully from our perspective that was it for SW. GB's two established pairs won their other matches and the new pair of Aiton and Kirby remained undefeated and the unfinished match had much more to do with the clash with the World Cup quarter final than poor play.
