This is a timely reminder of some important dates coming up over the next 8 months in the WCF world, which you may find useful.

30th June 2007

The closing date for nominations for the WCF Hall of Fame - 2007 Induction.

1st December 2007

The "end date" for election of 3 WCF Management Committee (WCFMC) Members who retire by rotation.

Nomination particulars will be distributed to ALL members on or about 1st September 2007 with a return nomination date of 22nd October 2007.

Voting papers, based on nominations, (and if required) will be distributed to FULL voting members on 30th October 2007.

Members are requested to start considering whether they wish to nominate any person for consideration of election to the WCFMC.

5th February 2008

The next scheduled General Meeting of the WCF Council (All members).

This is to take place in Christchurch, New Zealand at the WCF AC World Championship, at a venue to be arranged.

The day's play is scheduled to be for resolution of group tied places only.

The plan is to commence at 7.00pm with a buffet meal for those that attend and conduct business accordingly.

ALL Member Associations are requested to make preparations to be represented at the meeting, if they wish.

The agenda for the WCF Council meeting is set by WCF Statute. Members wishing to make any proposals for consideration by FULL voting members should begin to make their plans in good time, so that they can be properly circulated prior to discussion.
