Bob Thompson won the Nottingham Handicap weekend.

The tournament was substantially undersubscribed, with only 11 players, all from the Nottingham Club.

The format was a flexible Swiss and Bob Thompson (7) was victorious with 5 wins out of 5. In what was effectively the final he beat Omied Hallam (8). Jeane Ackermann (11) came through the field to take second place on 4 out of 5.
