Six pairs played 3 games against each other.

Torrential rain on Saturday did not dampen their enthusiasm. Sunday saw sunny skies and some excellent play from all parties.

Eventually two pairs battled to the top , though mention must go to Maggie Cowman and Daphne Pepler who only just missed out.

A 19 point final was played between Samantha Thompson with Helena Fensome against Freda Vitty with Jane Pringle with the former pairing winning the match 10 - 7 .
