Twelve players contested the tournament. No major shocks in the blocks with the possible exception of Maggie Cowman beating Freda Vitty . In the semi finals Tom Weston beat Samantha Thompson 6-7, 7-1, 7-6 and Jacob Carr beat Freda Vitty 7-4, 7-2. In a bitterly cold wind the final was won by Jacob Carr who beat Tom Weston 7-3, 7-3.
