Samantha Thompson won the 11th Women's Championship beating Sue Lightbody 2-1

Eighteen players played over three days with some familiar and new faces. Eight qualified for the knockout stages.

The semi finals were contested by Sue Lightbody who beat Rachel Rowe and by Samantha Thompson who triumphed over Kath Burt.

The final was a competitive three game affair with Samantha Thompson winning 2 - 1

The Plate competition was won by Jane Pringle
