Because of the low number of entries the tournament was organised as two blocks of six with the final and playoffs for lower places on the last afternoon.

The winner of block A was Huw Rees of Lym Valley who won all five of his block games. The runner-up was Peter Hills of Sidmouth and Cliff Daniel of Kenilworth was third.

The winner of block B was Derek Andrew of Sidmouth who won four of his five block games. The runner-up was Peter Mallen of Budleigh Salterton and Colin Walls of Sidmouth was third.
