David Marsh won the B-Level Advanced Weekend Tournament at Budleigh Salteron

Third time lucky - this proved to be the case for David Marsh from Wrest Park CC.

On his third visit to Budleigh to play in this Tournament David Marsh was the winner,
only losing one game, to Robert Moss from Bear of Rodborough CC who came third, out of
the nine games that he played over the weekend. Michael Haytack from Ashby CC was the
runner-up only losing two out of the eight games he played.
Chris Donovan from Budleigh Salterton CC was successful in his first triple peel in a CA
Tournament and obtained his Gold Award.

After the rain and difficult conditions of last year, when play had to stop at lunch time on
the Sunday as the lawns were not playable, this year the only challenge was the cold
northerly wind but the sun did appear on Friday and Saturday.
