Roger Staples won the Tyneside Midweek Handicap Tournament

Roger Staples (Middlesbrough) won the above tournament when he beat David Turner (Belsay Hall) +14 in the Final.
Both Roger and David were second in their respective blocks but managed to beat the opposite block winners Colin Green (Tyneside) and Alice Fleck (Tyneside) respectively. Colin beat Alice in the play off.
There were no major upsets but one game finished +1t with the score at 8-7 after 3 hours!
