The morning matches were played in relentless rain but after lunch the weather brightened considerably. It was another very close match with virtually all the games going to hoops 11 or more. As Durham had a long drive home it was decided not to finish the final game between Martin and Nigel. Ashby now face Nottingham at a venue yet to be decided. Malcolm's handicap came down to 4 and judging by the way he played will come down further in the future.
