In 2006 the CA undertook some ground-breaking high-speed filming of a range of strokes relevant to AC and GC. From this, a number of slow-motion film clips were made that revealed what happened in everyday strokes. Some clips altered our understanding of these strokes and influenced how the AC laws and GC rules subsequently evolved. They have also changed how we train referees.
All serious players and aspiring referees will benefit from studying these videos.
Having been difficult to access for some years, we have now "curated" them into a new webpage with links to all the video clips which are now hosted on YouTube. The webpage summarised the conclusions learned from each series.
