Les Heard (Northampton CC) Won the 2nd Zero Plus Tournament at Hamptworth

The weather was so kind to us all weekend. Sunny but chilly !

Considering this Tournament clashed with other events of a similar level taking place in the South, we were very pleased to get 14 players to enter. A big thank you to them !

The final was a very close fought affair with Les Heard (Northampton) coming out on top over Dave Cooper (Hamptworth) 7-6 7-5.

The whole tournament was very much enjoyed by all participants, but especially by two Kingston Maurward players, Steve Leonard (7th) & Ulf Greder (8th), both Handicaps 5. Playing in their first tournament and this level, they performed incredibly well with 4 wins & 3 wins out of 6 respectively in the group games. Well Done !
