Michael Tracy won the Bristol Handicap Tournament 6/7 May

After a cold and windy day on Saturday the players were only too glad of a bit of warmth and sunshine on Sunday.

All players played 3 block games on Saturday which gave us 3 block winners and a good runner up.

To no ones surprise the good runner up , Bob Whiffen of Bristol cc won his semi and got through to the final. However, he met his match when he competed against Michael Tracy from Nailsea cc.

It was a long final and the conditions were very dry but after Bob missed a short roquet and bounced his ball off 4 back this gave Michael the opportunity to make his last two hoops and win the game.
