Jane and Nick Evans win the Barwell Salvers Handicap

Jane and Nick Evans won the Barwell Salvers Handicap held at Cheltenham on the 4th to 6th of August.

They were the only unbeaten pair although it was full of tight matches, the closest being the defeat of Adam Moliver & Carol Cowlishaw by + 2 and David Foulser & Sean Magee + 5 whilst the final was won by +2 on time against Peter Petrie & Wendy Wu.

The most remarkable result was the defeat of Sarah & Ronin Hayes by +26 by Peter & Wendy whom still had unused bisques after their stunning victory.

Despite some hailstone on one day, the weather was largely OK & the concensus was that it had been a fun tournament.
