The tournament attracted 13 entries, double that of last year, with competitors travelling from Long Eaton, Richmond Park, Westmorland, Woodhall Spa and more locally Ripon and Bishop Monkton.

The day saw the usual mixture of bright sunshine and heavy rain. The lawns were in good condition, though the rain in the afternoon did noticeably slow the run of the ball.

Roger Schofield managed the event. The competition started with 2 blocks, all playing all. The play moved quickly through the various rounds with 3 rounds completed before lunch.
The play off was between Paul Durkin (Long Eaton) and Michael Bilton (Richmond Park). The winner was Paul who is playing in only his 2nd year, 7/5.

1st Paul Durkin, 2nd Michael Bilton, 3rd David Llyod ( Westmorland), 4th Libby Dixon(Pendle), 5th Roger I'Anson (Ripon) and 6th Will Drake (Pendle).

Roger was thanked for his support of the competition and his usual high standard of catering.
