GC C-Level Series at Surbiton

Seventeen players, some making their first tournament appearance including 12 year old Harvey Smith, enjoyed a cool fresh, bright day at Surbiton.

The lawns were not overly fast and the hoops friendly as appropriate for a C-Level event.

David Brame and Edwin Bone set a strong early pace each winning their first three games. Edwin then won the head to head and took lead only to lose to Freda Knight (his only loss).

David then lost to Jane Powell and had a struggle to hold-on to second beating Liz Swinton +3
