David Wicks won the Chalkhill Handicap W/E Tournament

The Chalkhill Handicap W/E Tournament 1st and 2^nd August at Norwich Croquet Club was won with a clean sweep of 5/5 by David Wicks of Ipswich. Runners up, on 4/4 were the Club Chairman John Reddish and a first CA Tournament Entry from High Wycombe, Robin Morrison. 6 more players, 2 from Norwich and others from the southern region competed in 6 rounds over the weekend. The weather was kind to us and we did not need to use the one-way system and socially distanced clubroom to take shelter in. All in all, it was well worth the effort of the risk analysis and preparation. Even the Model Railway was running and we all waved to Jonathan Toye when he went by during a break between games.
