David Wicks, last year's winner, presents the trophy to Sarah Barley

Originally scheduled over 2 days with 6 rounds of 4 games with 6 full time players and 3 part-timers, circumstances dictated that we had 2 rounds of 3 games and 4 of 4 games with only 8 players participating. Neil Chalmers was pleased to manage 2 rounds a day whilst the Manager and Sarah Barley played in five of the 6 rounds. The last round had everything, last year's winner David Wicks lost by 2 to Barry Pilgrim, Wendy Spencer- Smith beat Jonathan Toye by 11, David Haslam got his first win at Neil's expense and Sarah breezed past the Manager +26.

Sarah with 4 wins from 5 was declared the winner on who beat whom with the Manager also 4 from 5, runner up. 3rd place went to Wendy Spencer -Smith with 4 from 6. Sadly, time lost to rain showers prevented Jonathan from taking his customary ride on the miniature railway but at least the sun shone for the presentation.
