Examples of Making Croquet More Welcoming

In March last year the CA Council reviewed and approved a report that was prepared by a wide cross section of members and which proposed actions by which croquet can become more welcoming to a broader spectrum of society.

Feedback from the survey held earlier this year along with engaging articles in the Croquet Gazette show that some clubs are taking this challenge to heart and making real efforts to reach out into their community.

I feel sure there are more great stories to be told where clubs are making an extra effort to welcome new groups in their community.

We want to focus on this progress in the April issue of the Gazette and ask that you send a short article (no more than 300 words) and/or engaging photos to describe how your club is showing what a welcoming sport croquet can be. Please send Paul Brown your copy by 24th February 2023.
