Association Croquet World Championship News

The block play for 80 competitors representing 16 nations has now been completed. Play took place at Hurlingham, Dulwich, Ealing, Roehampton, Surbiton and Woking clubs.

Thirty two players qualified for the Knock out stages. These included the reigning champion Reg Bamford (South Africa)and also previous winners of the event Robert Fulford(England) Robert Fletcher(Australia), and Stephen Mulliner(England). In total seventeen players are from England , eight from USA, two from Australia, and one from each of South Africa, Scotland , New Zealand, Ireland and Spain.

On Thursday 20th July the Knock out matches will be at Hurlingham and Roehampton with Plate games at the other venues.

Spectators are welcome. To access Hurlingham you will need your CA membership card and there is an entry fee of £10.
