Brian Medley wins Pendle Advanced Tournament 15-16 June 2024

The winner of block A was in fact Brian Medley. While Charles Harding beat Paul Rigge on the Saturday, Paul withdraw on the Saturday evening and thus as manager I voided this game against PR when considering the winner. I also withdraw on the Sunday morning to even the competitors and so also voided my game against Brian Medley. Thus Charles, Brian and Dennis Scarr had two wins each and the decision was made on nett hoops and so Brian was the winner. Play was washed out on Saturday lunchtime by heavy rain and thus the tournament was shortened.
