Mike Town wins Woking GC Open Level Series 10th-11th June

Mike Town winner of Woking GC Open Level Series

The Woking GC Open Level Series Tournament was played on 10th and 11th June…part of our Mid-Summer Tournaments despite the chilly temperature the atmosphere was warm and friendly.

We had a very good handicap range of -3 to 1 which made for some very close exciting competition.

The Tournament was won by Woking's own Mike Town -3.

However at the start of the tournament this did not look very likely as he was beaten in his block by Liz Farrow and Tony Butcher both scratch players.

The Runner-up was John Taylor who only last year won the Woking GC A Level Series Tournament.
