11th July (AC - Longman Cup)

After winning a virtual coin toss, Bowdon hosted the quarter final tie against Wrest Park.
After a long drive (arriving in good time), Wrest Park started well and were 2-1 up at lunch.
The lawns were good and flat if a little green, and played well.
The weather also was good and the rain held off.
After a (light lunch), the afternoon session was a different affair with Bowdon winning all four singles matches.
