York lost to Blewbury 3-8

After losing the venue toss, the Blewbury team travelled north to take on York.

The 11 game format comprises 10 singles and 1 doubles. Blewbury captain Joe King won 3 singles, with team mates Brian Jamieson and Steve Fisher on 2 each. Andrew Petit joined Steve for a doubles victory. Cathie Dance, Richard Lamborn, Malcolm Tingle and Denise Foster represented York.

The second semi final between Nottingham and Southport will decide the line up for the final, due to be played at a neutral venue in September
