Thank you Beatrice

Earlier this year, Beatrice McGlen indicated to me her desire to step down from her role as Croquet England's CEO which the Trustees accepted at their meeting on 1 February. Beatrice will remain in post until 15 March.

I, and my fellow Trustees, would like to record our thanks for Beatrice's dedication and tireless work for Croquet England since our formation, and Chairman of the Executive Board of the Croquet Association since 2020. In that time, Beatrice has driven a wide range of improvements to our governance and operations, including the new Executive Director structure, and a much stronger focus on Safeguarding and Inclusion. Our sport has navigated the Covid pandemic and grown, as measured in both players and clubs.

A process for recruiting a successor will follow soon, but for now, thank you Beatrice.
