(AC - Championships)
An early upset saw Stephen Mulliner's first round defeat in a long scrap with David Harrison-Wood. Chris Farthing barely missed out on a quarter-final place when, two games up in a best-of-five, his triple broke down against David Maugham. Maugham took that and the two remaining games with triples. The final between Maugham and fellow Bowdon player Colin Irwin was a one-sided affair. In game one, Maugham misapproached four, and failed to regain the innings. In each of the next two games, he became hampered after running hoop one, allowing Irwin an immediate hit-in to peel out, taking the Championship title in three straight games.
The final of the Consolation Event saw an unlucky David Harrison-Wood fail his triple at Rover and Peg. Chris Farthing's break-down at two-back permitted a finish for Harrison-Wood, who wins the Tollemache Plate for the third time.
