Chris Roberts won the Nottingham B Level GC Tournament, with John Cundell coming second.

The Tournament was run as 6 blocks of 4 players, with one of the blocks being a final, selected from the winners and runners-up from the first blocks that were played, thus each player had 6 games. Several players from Nottingham were encouraged to take part in this, their first tournament, to give them experience of playing against people from other clubs. I have not reported these games as it would be inappropriate to include them in any ranking assessment. All games were best-of-one 13 point.

Runner-up. John Cundell of Leighton-Linslade beat:- Valerie Harding 7 - 2 and Eileen Buxton 7 - 2.
Eileen Buxton of Nottingham and Ashby beat Valerie Harding 7 - 6
John Edwards of Broadwass beat Jennet Blake 6 - 4
Ray Clipson of Kenilworth beat Jennet Blake 7 - 6
Jennet Blake of Nottingham beat Frances Coleman of Phyllis Court 7 - 5
