David Ball from Leighton-Linslade CC won the Nottingham GC B Level Tournament, with Eileen Buxton from Ashby CC coming second.

There were 12 entries, 7 from Nottingham and 5 from other clubs. The weather was reasonable, no rain, no sun and no wind, and with the lawns in excellent condition an enjoyable day's play was had by all. Each player had 6 games played in blocks of 4, three drawn at random in the morning in the morning to decide the blocks for the afternoon which were then arranged according to player's morning results. All games were best-of-one 13 point.

The winner was David Ball from Leighton-Linslade. Second was Eileen Buxton from Ashby and third place was taken by John Cundell, also from Leighton-Linslade. Particular congratulations go to Cathy Turski for making fourth place.
