Dulwich beat Phyllis Court 6-1

Dulwich hosted Phyllis Court for the quarter final of the Inter-Club Golf Croquet Championship. Dulwich fielded Simon Carter, Lionel Tibble, Mark Omerod, David Whyte. The visitors had depth and experience with Chris Roberts (-2) Ian Norris (-1) and Carole Jackson and David Hopkins both scratch.

Dulwich got off to a good start in the morning, with Lionel and Mark beating Chris and Ian 2-0 in the doubles. Simon beat Carole 2-0 and the two David's paused after the first game as it had taken just over 2 hours.

Simon beat David swiftly 2-0 before lunch and the match was won by David W beating Carole 2-1 to secure the four games needed. The remaining games were played resulting in a 6-1 victory for Dulwich.

Dulwich will now face Letchworth in the semi-final.
