16 players turned out to contest the Nottingham Advanced weekend, competing for the Memento Mori trophy on the 2th to 3rd of September.

Mark Avery took control of the event from the start, finishing day one on 6 wins, all with TP's. He continued with two more the next day to finish on 8 out of 8, all TP's. Overall, 53 games were played, 32 on Saturday and 21 on Sunday. Of the 53 games, there were 17 TP's.

The catering as always was superb with Ermgard, Sophie and their assistants looking after us really well on both days. Charlie set the hoops to a 16th, but on soft lawns, these were still fairly easy, which helped to keep games turning over quickly.

Many thanks to the club for looking after us so well, and hopefully we'll see everyone again next year.
