Competitors in Croquet England Calendar Fixtures in England & Wales must be Croquet England Subscribers or a member of a WCF Member Association, with exceptions described in Tournament Regulation P1(a)(2).
Premium, Overseas and Under-25 Subscribers get discounted tournament entry fees.
Under-25 Subscribers get priority entry into tournaments.
Registration for Online Tournament Entry
If you are a Croquet England Subscriber (which includes Standard Subscribers registered by clubs) you do not need to create a new account to enter tournaments because one is created for you by your club's Membership Secretary.
The login process uses your email address (as notified by you or your club) plus a password that you must set by following the online instructions.
If your email address is not recognised, you should contact your club secretary to make sure your details have been provided to Croquet England.
If you do not qualify to be a Standard Associate because your club is not participating in the scheme, you will need to join Croquet England as a directly-subscribed Associate.
If your club is participating in the scheme, but you have previously indicated to them that you do not want to be registered with Croquet England, simply ask your club secretary to add you as a Croquet England Standard Associate, or see the section Registration for a New Account.
Reciprocal Rights are granted under WCF Statute 164 for one visit (of up to 60 days in a calendar year) to members or associates of other WCF-Member Associations who are not resident in England. If you wish to claim reciprocal rights to use the online tournament entry system you must register (or renew) a Reciprocal Rights account by submitting online your personal contact details (including handicaps) and waiting up to one working day for the office to accept your request.
For more details or information, please contact the office.
Registration for a New Account
If you are not a Croquet England Associate and wish to become a Standard Associate, or wish to register a club membership without becoming a Croquet England Associate, you must first create an online account. Your club can do this for you or you can do it for yourself online.
Anyone registered as a member of a Croquet England Affiliate Club can become a Croquet England Standard Associate without additional cost: click Add Membership in your memberships tab.
Discounts Available
New Premium Associates pay a substantially reduced rate in their first year by completing a Direct Debit arrangement to pay subsequent subscriptions. This rate is not available to anyone who has previously been a Croquet England Associate in a category other than Standard.
The Direct Debit rate is available to those who complete a Direct Debit arrangement for renewal payments from a UK bank.
Otherwise, the Full rate applies and is payable online by credit card or sterling cheque drawn on a UK Bank.
The Paperless rate offers a discount for not receiving paper copies of The Croquet Gazette, which is available online. You can elect to be e-mailed when new editions are available by updating your personal details.
You can register to go (or stop being) paperless by editing your personal details. Update your subscription through the Memberships tab in your personal details to start or stop a Direct Debit arrangement.
Duration of Subscription
Subscriptions are for all or part of a calendar year and fall due on 1 January. New subscriptions started on or after 1 August last until 31 December of the following year.
