Lawn 4 seems to have started early, and I missed the beginning.  Lamm is playing a third turn 3-ball break with Y.  K has not yet been played on.  He has just made H4 with control.

Lamm has just stuck in 2b on his 3-ball break.  Seemed to be close in front, but called a referee before he played it.  Apparently it was in a hole, and he wasn't given relief.

K hits U to 3 yds N of H1.  Takes off to R at 3b.

Gets a rush on R W, and rushes it into Y which is the jaws of H1.  R goes on to W boundary, Y is knocked 1 ft in front of H1, peeled.  He sends R peg high going to Y.

Runs H1 and rushes Y to C4.  Sends it to H6 going to U.  U is sent to the peg, and he rushes R to H2.

K has failed H2 with R nearby.

R hits K.  Leaves it near H2 and takes off to U.  Rushes it to 6 yds in front of 4b, and takes off to Y.  Rushes it to W boundary, just N of H1.  Rolls to H1, gets an angled hoop and fails it, bouncing to the side.

K shoots at R/Y from H2.  Misses to S boundary.

R makes H1 and sends Y to H3, getting rush on U to H2.  Makes H2 and rushes U back to short of K which is still in front of H1.  Takes off from U leaving it 2 yds off the S boundary by H1, rushes K to near H5.  Takes off to Y at H3.

Lamm has made H4 and has established his break with R.

Spoke too soon.  He makes H5 but it has only run by an inch.  He has a hampered shot at Y.  Hits.  Back under control.

R continues on his break.  He is making 2b off partner, so no peels.

Lamm goes to the peg with no peels.  Looks like he is setting U/K crosspegged, both close to the peg, E and W.  Rolls R and Y off the E boundary, about 3 yds apart.

Bryant lifts K to B baulk, and shoots at the double.

Hits R.

Gets R to just S of H4, with no useful rush on Y.  Splits Y to H3 and gets 2 yd rush on U to H2.  Plays it well.

Bryant makes H2 and has a 4-ball break.

Bryant is running his break with K.  He has just made H4 and has full control.

Bryant looks like he's having a 1b leave.  R and Y are wired wide across H1 at about 45 deg NW/SE.  U is rushed to C3.

Lamm shoots with Y and hits the tea lady.  He puts K into the jaws of 4b, and rushes U to 3 yds in front of H5.  Takes off to R and gets his rush to 3b.

Lamm makes 3b and has a simple break to finish.

Lamm takes the first +20

Game 2.

Bryant send U to C2

Y goes to C4.

Bryant shoots with K at Y from B baulk.  Hits.  Approaches H1 sending Y 3 yds SW of H6.  Gets 1 yd position and runs to N boundary nearer B baulk than C2.  Shoots at U.

Hits.  Rolls U out to peg high on line between H3 and H4.  Gets a cut rush on Y.  Has a long H2 but makes it.

Bryant now has some control of his 3-ball break.  He has just made H3 with no forward rush.  He sends U a bit long in front of H5.

Bryant has sent U deep in front of 1b, and rushes Y well E after making H6.  Splits it to 2b well, but still has 3 yd approach to 1b.  Copes.

Bryant rushes Y to E boundary before making 3b off U.

Leaves 3 ducks on the E boundary!!

Lamm shoots and misses into C4.

Bryant plays a promotion cannon, getting Y well to H1.  Sends R to H2 going to Y.

Trying to keep track of a 2-ball endgame on lawn 3 as well as commentating on this, so this may get a bit intermittant.  Bryant has picked up a standard tp position and is peeling 4b from a foot in front, with all the balls.  He has just made H3.  The peel goes through.

Byant is peeling penult after H6.  It goes through 3 yds.  He has full control.

Bryant finishes to win +26tp and level the match.

They have broken for lunch, illegally early.

The players have sneaked out and started, unnoticed by me.  Bryant is playing R and has just rushed K to H1.  Y is near the peg and U near H2, so he has a break.

Bryant continues his break.  He popped U through H1, and has just had the second pop at H2.  He is approaching H6.

Bryant has left K on the back of H1 and looks like he is going to leave U on H4.

Lamm lifts U and shoots at K in H1.  Hits, rushing it peg high.

Didn't see what happend, but Bryant is back in play.  He has sent U to H2, K a yard or so off mid E boundary, and rushed R to H1.  Makes H1 with everthing in place to set up a standard tp.

Apparently Lamm had rolled U to H4, and had a 5 yd shot at R/Y on E boundary, which he missed.

Bryant looks to have everything under good control.  Peels 4b from 1 ft slightly angled after H3.  It goes through 2 yds.

Peels penult after H6, to past the peg.  He has full control.

Fails the rover peel going to 3b.  R stays close by the hoop.

Ignores R after 3b, sends K t penult going to U at 4b.

Sends U to just past rover after 4b, ging to penult.

Makes penult with no forward rush.  Rolls K only just past rover going to U.  Rushes R to 1 ft in front, Irish peels and finishes to win -20, +26tp, +24tp
