Pete had to peel Jamie to 1back.  Pete has tight rush S in corner 2.  Jamie's hoop 1 ball is 2 yards NE of corner 1 and the 1 back ball in near E boundary level with hoop 6.

Jamie misses Pete's ball with his 1 back ball

Forster has played some good big shots to be making 6 with one peel done and a degree of control

Marcus gets the 3back peel after 4.

Pete's rush to corner 1 hits the ball near the corner and cuts it into the corner he has a 3-4 yard take off to get his rush to hoop 1

Johnston still going no idea what hoop he is on - definitely not a TPO

Rutger hits long lift.  Chapman preparing to take his.  Johnston on hoop 5.  Trimmer doesnt get rush to 1 has to approach from corner 1 stopping ball to hoop 3

Johnston popping hoop 2 before 6

Chapman non lift was a 9 yarder which he missed.  Hockey has stuck in hoop 1 and Paddy has hit in.

Pete was more aggressive than that has failed to approach putting the other ball 7 yards N of hoop 1.  It is runnable probably 30%.  Fails it wired from Jamie.

Jamie 1back ball at 1 back and hoop 1 ball 7 yard N of 1 with no shot at Petes hoop 1 ball in front of 1 with and easy 18" hoop.  Petes 4 back ball on S boundary 4 yards E of corner 1.

Forster to E boundary, Clarke to Corner 2, Forster misses partner from A baulk

Pete has played well to get a standard TP

At hoop 2 Rutger had to roquet the MSL ball through 1 back didnt have it watched and wasnt sure he had hit.  The players have done some testing themselves and decided that it must have hit.  Hoop now being reset as it took some abuse in the testing process!

Fletcher finishes

Reg's sextuple was in much better shape than I thought he had already peeled 2 back in the position I saw and has now also peeled 3 back.  Setting up for 4back before 2back

Looks like Jenny missed 4th turn and Forster has 3 yard hoop 2 for a break.  Sticks off partner.  Jennys balls 4 yards S of 3 and just out of corner 4 - shooting at partner - misses

Fletcher supershot Avery to middle of E boundary, Fletcher misses from B baulk (I should develop some shorthand for that!)

Evans finishes quad.  Death leads 2-1

Johnston on lawn I presume Fulford has had his lift but not sure.

Avery misses from A baulk.  Fletcher finds a variation and shoots at Mark with the supershot ball - misses.

Evans/Death at lunch, Death has half a pint in his hand (for the avoidance of doubt that is a half drunk pint!)

Pete has two peels done.  Forster at hoop 4 but still some work to do for a break.

Bamford rushing to 3 back from beside 4 back with a delayed double ahead of him

Jenny lifts W boundary ball takes short shot and misses

Paddy has missed his lift.  Hockey has made hoop 1 with a break

Bamford only jawses 20" straight peel.  Jump shot send peelee backwards to 9" straight in front of rover.

Trimmer finishes

Forster makes hoop 1 with a break

Bamford plays for a cannon peel.  Isnt quite straight but all but distance between balls 12" peelee 9" in front of the hoop

lots of care from Reg still doesnt like the look of it

Peel fails strikers ball then hits peelee (in the same stroke) and it ends in the middle of rover both oppo balls also at rover

Maugham on standard TP, Hockey on 4ball break to win 2nd game

Reg peels leaving himself a 7 yarder at the peg towards corner 2 which he hits.  Beard 1 and 2 v Peg with excellent chance of a break.
