Comments

Having made 2 back Paddy has a controlled position, peelee nicely in front of penult.\

Johnston making diagonal spread

Rutger fails roll up and retires to near corner 4

Dave goes to S boundary in front of 1

Rutger runs hoop 2 to the most applause of the day

Paddy gets death roll peel to 3back in the jaws and control at 3 back should finish from here

Rutger gets 2 yard position at 3, Dave takes 18 inch position at 1

Rutger runs 3 takes 1 yard position at 4.  Dave runs 1 and takes 18 inch position at 2

Rutger fails 4, I think it is probably runnable.  Dave runs 2 and takes 7/8 foot angled position at 3

Johnston has got his spread

Rob lifts ball at 2 and is taking the short shot

Rutger goes to middle of S boundary Dave takes one foot position

Fulford hits

Rutger moves to in front of 2 back, Dave takes very close position

Rutger plays to near corner 3

Paddy finishes to win 3-2

Dave needs a ref for his hoop stroke

Rob has stuck in hoop 2 with all the balls, from nowhere I think

Dave runs the hoop by 8 yards and misses hoop 4 completely

Andy is making an easy roquet at hoop 3 with 2 balls at hoop 2.  Not sure which ball he is playing yet peels Rob to hoop 3

Rutger to 13 yards in front of 4, Dave to corner 4

Rutger to 4 yards in front of 2back

Andy rushing to hoop 1 if he makes it it is a standard TP

Dave to 8 yards n of corner 4.  Andy makes hoop 1 looks like the return might have a bit of length to it or he might just be being careful

Andy has hit the return

Rutger moves a bit nearer 2 back (both players are for hoop 4)

Bad roll gives Andy a 6 yarder at hoop 2 pioneer which he hits confidently and gently - approach is from only 4 or 5 feet

Maugham move in a few yards, rutger stays near 2 back, maugham adjusts another couple of feet must have something runnable now

Johnstone fails hoop2.

Rob has short roquet at hoop 3 with his hoop 1 ball two balls at hoop 2 (one of them in the jaws) - we have been here before

Looks like Dave had a gentle go at 4 which missed the hoop completely and rutger has missed him, Dave has 6 yard pick up

Dave misses.  Rutger makes 4 with a cut rush to 5.

Rob rushes close to hoop 1

Rutger makes 5 but fails to get a forward rush he really should have got, approaching 6 from 8 yards straight.

Plays to take hoop to boundary but leaves himself at 8 foot hoop

runs hoop by 3 yards no rush but makes 5 yard roquet

Rob at hoop 3 with all the balls

Rutger approaches from boundary putting Daves ball level with hoop 5 on the line of 1 and 2.  Runs hoop to S boundary misses return.

No TPO from Fulford - I presume Andy is 3 and 4 back

Dave takes 1 yard position at 4 think Rutger fails to get position at two back, Dave runs 4

Dave misses

Rob look like he is lining up a hoop 4 peel which is plausible from the starting position he had

Rutger hits approaches two back to 5 feet runs it to get a longish yardline rush to 3back

Rob has the hoop 4 POP jawsed making hoop 5

Rutger approaches 3back from 5 yards to 2 yards runs it off the N boundary giving himself a 16 yard return

Rutger has played to corner 1 presumably he was wired

Dave misses rutger

Rutger takes off to 4back and takes 2 foot position

Dave fails to get position at 5, Rutger runs 4back and takes 2 yard 20 degree position at 6

From close Dave takes position poorly to 1 yard angled

Rutger fails 6 and stays there very close to the hoop. Not having good position could be costly for Dave here

Maugham fails 5

Rob has made NSL with hoop 5 ball on hoop 4 and the other ball (for 4back) on W boundary level with 6.  Rob is 3 and 4 back

Rutger plays away to near middle of W boundary.  Maugham plays into jaws of 5, Rutger hits him

Johnston hit something with the ball on W boundary (4back ball) from where it lay

Rutger takes off from S boundary and takes 2 foot position at penult.

Andy taking his 4back ball to the peg

Maugham misses

Rutger runs penult to a yard to the side rover (dave is for 5)

Rutger takes position

Dave hits rushing it to the S boundary
